OUTDOOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES: THE LOWDOWN
-
No, I don’t have my own woodland setting but have I delivered parties for people in their own garden space or in nearby woods that are open to the public. Just to note that in order to light a fire I would need the landowner’s permission. In previous parties this has always been possible to obtain, however, if it isn’t then we can find solutions or change the activity. Also, I am able to signpost to other providers who deliver parties from their own woodland setting if that is what you are looking for.
-
Travel within a 20-mile radius from Trowbridge is included in the party price.
Travel beyond 20 miles is subject to an additional fee.
-
The youngest age for a birthday party is 5 years old and there is no upper age limit!
For parties where the children are aged between 5 – 7 years old, the maximum number is 8 children.
For Parties where the children are aged 8 years old and above, the maximum number is 12 children.
If you would like more children to attend the party, the cost is £15 per additional child and I would seek to employ an assistant.

I will be keeping a close eye on the weather in the run-up to a party and if necessary, will change activities so they are appropriate for the weather.
The party will not be cancelled if it is raining unless the rain is accompanied by strong winds that make it unsafe to be in a woodland setting.
If there is extreme weather that necessitates a cancellation, I will aim to rebook the party as soon as possible. There will be no charge in this case.

An Outdoor Birthday Party Example: Dragon Quest
Are you and your friends ready to undertake a series of challenges that will earn you clues to the dragon’s lair and find the treasure within?
Challenge 1 - Build a fort strong enough to withstand howling winds and hammering rain! You’ll need to work together as a team!
Challenge 2 - Can you walk across the slackline avoiding the raging torrents of the river beneath? You’ll need courage, balance and fortitude!
Challenge 3 - Make a pocket catapult and earn your next clue.
Challenge 4 - Group game: Dragon’s lair! Can you find the lair without getting caught by the dragon?
Challenge 5 - Slay the dragon using your pocket catapult!
Challenge 6 – Using flint and steel, light a fire and gain your final clue!
Now you have all the clues, go find the treasure! The treasure will be marshmallows or equivalent treats suitable to toast over the fire.
There will then be time for free play and the option to relax in the hammocks before a final gather around the fire circle for cake and singing before saying goodbye.
